[ I ] Training Center: Action

[Sometime the next day, while the sun is up.

So Ryoji's been at Garden for some time now. Certainly enough time for him to have explored most of the areas and familiarize himself with getting around. However, there's still one area that he's yet to check out. But not for long.

As Ryoji steps through the doors leading into the Training Center, he can't help but look around, letting everything imprint itself before he makes an opinion. So far though, he can't help but think it's a pretty nice place.

So now he's wandering around the Training Center, acting like he's on a casual stroll.

On, and it might be worth it to note that Ryoji is walking around the Training Center without a weapon.]

I gotta say, I'm impressed with everything I've seen of Garden.

[And close to the entrance (because that is admittedly the best place to be when you're pretty new at this whole battle thing), there is a boy shooting at a Grat. He doesn't seem to have noticed you yet!

[A touch startled by the shooting noise, Ryoji turns to look and notices the shooting. Not exactly one to want to get too close, Ryoji projects his voice to be heard over the shooting.]

Have you tried shooting closer to your target to start off with?

[The sudden interruption catches him off-guard, and his next shot connects- but then again, anything would connect if the monster decided to rush at you like that. He lets out a surprised yelp as the blow glances off his shoulder and fires another few rounds in succession as he moves back.]

That would be a rather dangerous strategy to adopt, wouldn't it?

[Ryoji makes a distressed noise as he sees the blow and, before he even realizes it, he's moved to stand besides the other boy's side. Ryoji also doesn't notice that he's standing in the monster's way of the other. He can't help but feel guilty for having distracted him and having a hand in causing his injury.]

I'm sorry. I shouldn't have distracted you like that. Are you all right?

Then I hope you're good at magic or martial arts because wild things like to jump out. [Marco of course, isn't carrying a weapon at all himself either.]

Not really, no. I don't have any experience with magic to speak of and most of the martial arts I've seen come from movies or games. [He says it in such a frank and honest manner, it's a wonder if he's taking things seriously.]

[ Really, Colette spends far too much time in the Training Centre. It's not that she enjoys fighting monsters a whole lot, it's just that there's this one quiet spot that's nice to sit in. Here and the library tend to be her two main haunts.

She is in fact on her way out as she spots Ryoji - a total stranger. Obviously, upon encountering a total stranger who looks like a fellow cadet, there's only one thing to do: Colette treats him to a wide smile and a wave.

The thought occurs to her that she could warn him about the big scary dinosaurs that occasionally lurked around this place, but the whole "can't talk" thing is a bit of a disadvantage there! ]

[Ryoji spots the head of blonde hair out of the corner of his eye and he turns to see Colette, giving her a smile and a wave back in return. Walking over, he greets her pleasantly.]

Hello there my sweet, little princess. What's your name?

[ Oh, he seems nice! Colette opens her mouth to speak, but then closes it again, waving her arms about in what was supposed to be an apology but came across as more of a panicked flail. Sorry! Sorry!

She makes a gesture, wait just a moment please, before fishing out her notebook and scrawling on it as quickly as possible.

"Hello! I'm Colette!"

For an extra touch of happiness, she doodles a daisy before she offers Ryoji the pad. ]

[He can't help but watch her antics with more than a little amusement. Colette's panicked flail makes Ryoji chuckle, although he does understand the 'wait' gesture she made. Doing so, he reads what it is she writes on the notebook.

Laughing and smiling widely, Ryoji makes a 'can I' gesture before he borrows her pen. Next to her little flower, he draws his own smiley face.]

It's nice to meet you Colette. I'm Ryoji Mochizuki.

[ Colette's wide smile returns as she nods her acknowledgement, happy that it wasn't too much trouble after all. She was a little uncomfortable being chuckled at, but she supposed she did look a little silly...

She takes the pen and writes - not in as much of a rush as the last time - "it's nice to meet you, too! Are you training here?" ]

[Conversation was a little stagnant with Ryoji having to pause while Colette wrote out whatever it was that she wanted to say, but he didn't really mind it so much. It meant more time spending with a cutie.

Reading the message, Ryoji shakes his head and places a hand on his chest in a familiar gesture.]

Oh no, I'm not here to fight. I just thought I'd see what it was like inside the Training Center for myself.

[ See what it was like? Colette looks a little confused for a moment, before she makes a small 'oh!' motion. He wanted to look around?

"Then you should see the secret area!" she writes, completely oblivious to the fact Ryoji was unarmed and quite possibly unlikely to protect himself on the way there. "It looks so pretty at night!" ]

[ Minako's sitting some minutes away from the entrance to the Training Center, taking a brief break away from the monsters with her weapon, the Vel Vel Muruga lying by her side.

Currently she's not paying too much attention to her surroundings with her headphones covering her ears and nodding to the rhythm of a melody that only she could hear.

She definitely won't hear Ryoji approach either, not until he comes close enough. ]

WAITS FOREVER

[There was that odd little tugging noise going off in Ryoji's head again. Before, it had only gone off whenever Minato was around, leading him to seek out the other boy. Now, however, Ryoji couldn't be sure which Arisato it was directing him towards. Not that he really cared which one he met up with. He liked them both.

Following the feeling towards its origins, Ryoji's face splits into a wide grin when he sees Minako. He calls out her name as he draws closer.]

Minako-chan!

[ When she hears somebody calling her name, softly over the sound of her music, Minako turns her head expecting - not expecting Ryoji of all people to be here. The surprise is clearly reflected on her face for a second before she breaks into a smile, pulling her headphones down, and cheerfully calls out while waving, ]

Good morning. What are you doing here?

[He glances at the weapon next to her, but doesn't think too much about it. This is a school that offered classes in fighting. Having a weapon on hand wasn't that unusual a thing. Even if hers did look like it had seen a fair amount of action already.]

[ She's not about to lie, not when she clearly has a weapon next to her. ]

I didn't know that you be interested in those kind of things. Girls really are full of surprises.

I'm just exploring the area. This was the only place in Garden I hadn't been to yet.
