Man what do they even call these half bites of meat they give out in the cafiteria? Shit it aint hardly meat just junk and there aint no blood to make it worth the time ta swallow. How longs this shit been dead anyway? Gunna die if we dont land somewere soon. Shit id take the damn snow lions in trabia over this. Maybe well get lucky and some dumass scouting crew of solja boysll come try ta land on garden. Could use a bit of fresh meat. See anyone suspicious point me at em. Srsly ill even clean up the mess Anyway. Anyone up for a spar? Got rules. Keep my mouth shut. No blood. So i aint gunna hurt ya too much.

[In spite of textual whining to the contrary, Namur is quite healthy, if a bit crankier than usual. He can be found working off some of his aggression in the gym or pounding his music extra loudly on the Quad. Catch up with him in the cafeteria if you dare. For hell's sake, someone come spar with him!]

That'll be because it's a school cafeteria. Food's crap. That's why I cook my own.

[Don't ask where he gets the ingredients. He may have pilfered some from the cafeteria kitchen out of desperation.]

[And if Namur wants to spar? He's got an invisible chameleon sneaking up on him in the Quad, carefully paying attention to the direction of the wind to avoid Namur catching his scent.]

Hows that any better? Cooked is cooked and its all dead and scorched by then

[Ooh, that's sneaky. Usually it wouldn't matter but with Garden in motion it blows away everyone's scent and taste anyway. Congratulations, Espio, you have unwitting prey, not particularly paying attention because he's doing a series of flips and spins to a heavy electronic beat.]

Just because you like your steak to still be mooing doesn't mean the rest of us do. I happen to like my meat cooked properly.

The cafeteria just turns everything into slop, though. They have no idea how to season things properly, don't measure things properly, cook it for way too long, and I can still taste the egg in their cake half the time. It's disgusting.

[It helps that Namur is dancing to a beat. It means Espio can also time his strike just right, and launches himself into his own spinning top attack - yes, the one that hits ridiculously hard - right when Namur is in mid-flip, aiming directly for the stomach. Goal: send Namur flying across the Quad.]

And they never have any fish :(

[Success! Namur has a moment of disorientation when suddenly for no good reason he's soaring in the wrong direction, but he gets himself under control in time to take the impact with his feet, springing backward to dissipate the momentum and land on his hands in a crouch. His head swings from side to side, checking the air as he slowly moves forward, grinning.]

[Espio, while still invisible, decides not to bother making much of a secret of his location and uses the time Namur uses to get oriented to casually turn off the music. He stays in position by the side of the boombox, hoping to lure him over.]

[Namur angles off to the side, focusing on haki signatures around him. He catches Espio's at about the same moment the boombox magically shuts itself off, and stands up to his full height. He quickly throws Shiva into his elemental attack junction slot, then continues circling around, hands in his pockets.]

Nice trick there bro. Usually lots harder t' sneak up on me, sheheheh!

I specialise in it.

[No, he really doesn't. He's been training and learning how to use invisibility more effectively, but even so he's still too noisy to be a true sneak. He also remains invisible.]

'S that a fact?

[Namur keeps circling, walking casually, though the circle might be getting a little tighter as Namur hones in on Espio's haki, smell, and now sound. Namur doesn't assume he'll stay near the boombox.]

I tried.

Wasn't a good fit for me.

[Really, did he think he was going to put up something like that and NOT have Fionna pop up? Here she was, fresh faced and ready to fight, staff in hand].

So! What were you planning for a spar?

[Namur aims a Stop spell at the place where he feels Espio to be, reinforced in his certainty by the taste and the sound of his voice.]

[Does he even have to write something in the BBS for her to show up?]

Plannin'? Wasn't plannin' nothin' Sweetheart. Jus' gettin'... Dunno. Hate flyin'.

[Namur does look actually kind of miserable.]

[You think, after Thatch hit him with one, Espio didn't set up to resist stop? It's easily one of the most annoying status effects, that's why it's one of Espio's favourite spells to use.

When it fails, he quickly casts Haste on himself and - frankly, cheating now - chaos controls behind him, high enough to kick him in the back of the head, planning to use him briefly as a springboard and flip back to the ground to sweep a second, low kick to knock him over.]

[NOPE]

Yeah, well, there's always a good way to work that out man. You feelin' ok?

Hm? Yeah, sure. Fine.

[It should say something that he didn't turn her words into some kind of innuendo.]

So what, y' wanna spar or somethin'? What y' got in yer hand?

[Namur feels the direction of Espio's haki change in an instant. He takes the kick in the back of the head, but anticipates the sweep, so instead of correcting backwards to try and stand he lets the momentum Espio gave him drive forward into a handspring. He pushes himself back with his arms, throwing his legs straight behind and low to the ground.]

[Even Fionna had known what Namur might say to something like that, so she was more than a little intrigued by what was bothering him.]

Just a staff dude. A really good one though, bought it in town!

Man I could a found y' a bigger stick in the forest for free.

[Garden shifts around a little bit as it hits some turbulence, knocking some students to the ground and making Namur shift into a crouch, hissing through his teeth.]

Damn it is it really so hard t' fly straight? The hell's their problem?

Yeah, I guess, but they put all these cool markings, see-

[Whoops. The garden shifted at just the wrong moment, and now you got a staff in the eye].

Oh man! Sorry!!

[Namur whips his head back, eye scrunched closed, and grunts.]

Ain't yer fault, babe. 'S jus' cuz we're flyin'.

[He rubs his eye, then flops belly-first to the ground, having a full-on planking fit.]

Place reeks lately, too. People really gotta be pukin' out the windows 'stead a in the head? Shit.

Flying weird though. You sure you're good for this? You look distracted.

[Well, there was one answer].

Heh, I guess. I'm glad I don't get all airsick like that!
