You know, this is the first time I'll actually get an opportunity to attend a concert in this world! Is anyone else thinking of attending one of her concerts? If there is interest, please let me know, as I plan to get tickets very soon! Maybe we can get a group discount?

Also, does anyone have some extra mittens or gloves? Sticking my hands into my pockets isn't really working for me. I'm willing to do a reasonable trade for the gloves! I've gotten gloves, but if anyone needs assistance with something, then please let me know!

Do you really think a famous singer would miss an opportunity to reach dozens of fans just because we're not from this world? Our money is no different, and we all like music, so I don't see what could keep her from performing her.

I do, but they're not very thick, nor big enough for my hands. I figured I should ask before venturing out to the cold.

At the risk of alienating scores, I dare say so. Musicians go where the money is! We have some, certainly, but not as much as... say, Esthar.

Don't ask me. You're the one who says you want them. But wouldn't that be fairer than getting other people to pay for your oversight?

I wouldn't speak of all musicians in that statement. It's insulting.

You're acting as if asking for something you lack is a bad thing. If someone were to ask for something, like gloves, or assistance with something, some people readily provide what they can without compensation, even if they're entitled to ask for some.

I'm willing to make a trade for the gloves, if you're going to give me a hard time about this.

You mustn't think I'm speaking of all of them! Not at all! Why, some musicians never toured at all. Others you only saw if they took the rail when it was handy.

Good. I know I'm of the few musicians who don't play for profit. Sure, the music business is a great way of making money and becoming popular, but it comes and goes so quickly.

Ah, musicians who play simply because they love the music are the best. Simply magnificent. But it pays the bills so poorly. You don't see many of them -- or hear!

So very true! I was fortunate that my family was well off, but once I was able to fill concert halls after all the efforts, it was a real sense of accomplishment. Plus, I got the chance to pay back most of the money to my family.

Fortunate, very fortunate! But you couldn't have filled the concert halls without effort as well. And you haven't played here?

Effort is what makes people see just how genuine you are about your music.

I have, only a song or two here. With being a SeeD, touring isn't a viable option. I wouldn't mind providing small shows in between missions, but things have to settle down first. If that will ever happen.

You ought to do it. Even for just Garden. Perhaps I could persuade you to play at one of my little get-togethers?

I'm just saying: what you forget or remember has consequences. Just because today a few people might step up to cover them for you doesn't mean they were never there. And it doesn't mean you should start expecting otherwise.
