So, in future, I'd prefer if people leave it up to me before signing me up for things. I guess the date thing could have been worse, but even so. I still, I always will prefer to do things like that with Eugene.

I am glad that things seem to have calmed down though, for the most part, even if the Garden seems a little more crowded than usual lately. I hope some of you manage to see some friends again?

[Open to the fourth wall arrivals, Rapunzel is outside at the quad relaxing that afternoon by drawing with some chalk on the ground, though trying to be mindful of people passing by and not blocking the middle at least. She's working on a big yellow sun with purple around it, drawing some of the people she has met and things she has learnt over her time here. Yes, she has got chalk up her arms and on her dress. Possibly a bit in her braided hair even.]

[Her actions have drawn one curious observer, at least; a tall white pony has stopped some distance away to look at them curiously.]

[Rapunzel is apparently too engrossed in her art to notice the pony watching her just yet, humming softly to herself as she works on the details in the purple surrounding the yellow sun.]

I'm certainly not complaining, but simply curious -- why the purple?

Oh? Well, I like purple. The yellow sun and purple background is the emblem of the kingdom of Corona, back home.

That sounds like a kingdom I would like... if I were to judge by the name.

It's a wonderful kingdom. I do miss it.

I can tell. Your love for it shines through in the drawing.

Oh, thanks! I was only there for one day so far, but I really want to go back.

Would you tell me about it, then? I'd like to hear.

Well...the people there were all so nice, it was so busy, and so much to see and do there in the kingdom! They really seemed to love it there, and I'd...I'd be proud to be able to return from the tower and claim my birthright as their lost princess.

Ah, now I understand. It's sad that you've been separated from the people there.

[seethelanterns]

It is. But, people back home don't seem to notice us being gone while we are here, and if they have been waiting eighteen years already....I'm sure another day or two won't be too bad until I'm able to return to them.

You are a more permanent resident here, I take it. I'm told that the way I seem to jump between Equestria and here means I likely will not be staying.

Oh....well, yes. I've been here over a year now, so I am definitely more a permanent resident in comparison. I know there was one point previously we had a lot of new arrivals but more of them were gone before too long. I guess you probably know the other ponies here too, being from Equestria? I'm sure they will be glad to see you here, even if you don't stay.

Strange to think that it has been far longer to them than it has been to me. Time truly has been distorted and confused.

It has. It's...strange for me too, Eugene remembers more than I do from what happened back home.

And I imagine I, at least, will remember none of this when I return home. That's sad.

It is, but unfortunately that is probably true.

That won't change what I do here, though. So I plan to make the most of it.

Okay! [And Rapunzel draws Nene, starting with a basic outline of the girl's body and face and then filling in the details. It's perhaps a little simple, but her style still seemed to capture the girl and her enthusiasm.]

Yay! Thanks! Now I'm in a piece of art!

[Giggling to herself, Nena skips away happily.]

[Rapunzel giggles as well, glad Nena seemed to like the drawing at least. It was a shame it wouldn't last, but at least in the meantime she was able to make someone happier, waving goodbye as Nena skips off and she continues her drawing.]

Yeah, that would be best. Or if they let people sign themselves up if they wanted to do that dating thing. I still can't really imagine that with anyone but you, Eugene.

Thanks, Blondie. I feel the same. I can't imagine being involved with anyone but you. No matter what, even if it's just something as basic as running to the Duckling, you're always there with me.

I guess I've done things with friends that might kind of seem like dates, but we didn't think of it like that? I guess we did do a lot of running back home. But we were together.

I'm betting we stay together, because I definitely feel like I want to be with you for the rest of my life, Blondie.

There's no way I'm letting you go, Rapunzel. I think Maximus, Pascal and Flynn can echo that sentiment.
