~001~
[It had all been too strange for Id ever since he came to this new world. One moment he was fighting what some might consider the most powerful being in the ancient past of what was to become the continent of Gressen, and then the next thing he knows, he's somewhere else, his sword returned back to normal, and with him being picked up by some kind people.
At least, he thought them to be kind. Oakbing always said he was a little too trusting of others.
Now, he found himself enrolled in this place that was training people to become some sort of warrior. At first, he figured he was fine as he was, knowing how to battle with a sword. That was, until he saw the class listings, which included magic. He took them only because they reminded him of the world he'd left behind. And Ilran. And the others...
He was now on the far end of the quad, just taking it all in. The sights, of course.]
I know I need to get used to all this very fast. I barely even remember half of what I was taught in class. I barely even know how to work those things that they use in there. Com... comp... something.
[It was here where his sword, now transfigured into a golden sort of combination ring/bracelet, spoke to him in his mind]
-You mean computers. I'm... I'm sorry I can't be of much use to you around here, unless it's to protect you, Id-nim-
[To the casual observer, he could quite possibly look as if he's about to speak to himself in a low whisper, however.]
It's not your fault, Lamia, it's not your fault.
[Feel free to talk to the dude that completely looks like a lady. Don't worry, he's all too used to the fact that he's been thought to be a female before. Just how far you take it might make the difference on how friendly he might be.]

Lamia? Who are you...talking to?
no subject
I--!!!
[He looked down at his left hand, where Lamia was now comfortably passing off as a piece of expensive-looking jewelry. He could hear Lamia giggle, for the first time in a while, actually.]
She's... my sw--this.
[He pointed to his left hand as he raised it toward him, the back of his hand toward the young man. Guess who's gonna look like the idiot here for not bothering to explain things thoroughly? Awkwaaaard.]
no subject
Oh.
[He blinks a little. Maybe talking to jewelry was a really normal thing in this world. Just as awkwardly, he tries to pass it off as if not surprised in the least, looking just as idiotic because hell, no matter where you're from, talking to the back of your wrist is odd, okay.]
...Right. Of course.
no subject
Ah, sorry. She's... different. She looks like this right now, but she's actually my sword.
Helps keep her hidden in plain sight until I need her. That is, if she isn't annoyed with me.
[Whoa. Annoyed? Is this person for real? And how can a sword come out of that dinky little thing? Makes no sense, right?]
no subject
...If your sword isn't annoyed with you.
no subject
She's nice and kind for the most part, but at times, and for reasons that I don't know, she sometimes doesn't seem to be up to helping me out as much as I'd expect her to.
no subject
Is it a sword, or a person?
[Because truthfully, that glove looks like Option C: Neither of the Above to him.]
1/2
Hmmm...
2/3 - I miscalculated~
The best that I can tell you from what I've come to learn from my experience, is that Lamia is a sword with a soul, a female soul. So, she does have a mind of her own.
I know that she might not look like it right now in her current form, but she's a pretty great sword.
[His next words were about to be, "do you want to see what she's like normally?" when he heard Lamia interrupt his thoughts, her voice sounding as if she were blushing, thanking Id for thinking of her in a positive manner.]
3/3
She can change herself into anything within reason with her magic, really. But, want to see her true self?
no subject
[Hey, if she's a soul, she deserves respect too, right? Hope even steps back, having no idea how large or broad the weapon was. His eyes are fixed expectantly on the glove.]
Please.
no subject
Lamia~
[That was all he needed to say to her - she had already known what he wanted her to do, after all. The large and ornate piece of jewelry over his glove immediately shined brightly for a moment, before it grew into a beautiful long sword (http://i385.photobucket.com/albums/oo294/by4kug4n/Id/Lamia__Sword.jpg) (in his opinion), which Id immediately held in a rather expert way, before holding her in front of him. All he was waiting for now was to see the reaction the young man in front of him would have.]
no subject
Uh, hi, Lamia. Nice to meet you?
[Yup he's feeling pretty dumb talking to a sword, but if it is sentient, it'd just be awfully rude to dismiss it like an ordinary inanimate object, right?]
I'm Hope.
[He glances up as he says it, directing the introduction to both of them with a smile.]
OMG The Lateness. D8 *Fails* |||OTL I'm soooo sorry!
Ah, she says that it's nice to meet you as well. Though why were doubting that she was a sword? That's what she said.
Sorry, but she can't speak directly to other people. It has to do with how it was that I acquired Lamia, and the fact that I recently learned that no one else can really hear her, no matter what state of matter she's in. But she can watch and listen to everything.
[He nodded as Hope gave his name.]
And my name is...
[he paused for a second, wondering how he should say, or at least, explain his slight predicament.]
Chun-Hwa, but you can call me Id. It's a lot more easier to say, I think.
No problem! I'm slow too! Hope you don't mind it.
[He glances down. It's still a lot to wrap his head around, but well, he's been working on that open-mindedness thing. Glancing back up, he smiles at Id.]
Chun-h-..huh- yeah. You're right. Id is better.
[There's the roar of a crowd for a second in the far end of the area, and Hope looks over. Though it's a lot to adjust to, students are slowly getting their enthusiasm for the year back, albeit some slower than others.]
So what were you doing out here just talking to Lamia? Not interested in exploring around?
Not at all~<3
[Which left Lamia thinking out loud in Id's mind, saying that while there were swords with magic, but there really weren't others exactly like her, now that she thought about it.]
See? It's short, and it's a whole lot easier to remember.
[He also looks over to see what's going on. Nothing dangerous, it seemed.]
Oh, I like exploring! I did a lot of that back... well, I've gotten around to getting familiar on how I could go around from my dorm to the classes I'm taking. As well as the cafeteria.
But just for a moment, I wanted to speak with her, since now I'm busy listening to others, trying to learn about how to do things as they're done right here. Not to mention that I've only been here a short time, and everything is still so new. She's the only one I have that reminds me of anything that I had come to know, but she's at least helping me out to figure out some of the words that escape me.
Like comp... computer? That.
no subject
I can teach you how to use a computer!
[Always looking to be so helpful.]
no subject
[He smiles, albeit a little nervously. He doesn't want to be a burden, but he recognizes the fact that he really has absolutely no clue about them aside from the fact that they're used in his classes.]
no subject
Yeah, let's just find one we can use - and Lamia probably has to go back to being a glove.
no subject
[Just as easily as before, she turned back into the rather smaller form of hers. Now with her nice and secure over his left hand, he looked back over toward Hope.]
So... where to, Hope?
If you don't mind, let's wrap this up and assume they had failure fun times in the computer lab?
It's inside. We can't use a computer out here in the open with no power.
[Unless they randomly spawn in the open fields of the wilderness like Save Points.]
\o/ Yay handwaving~ [I mean, yes, of course Awesome!Fail!times at the comp lab can be had~]
Oh... w-well then! Inside we shall go!
[He quickly followed behind him, not wanting to fall far off behind. He still needed to get used to where everything was at, and learning where else a computer might be could come in nice and handy.]
can Ragnarok sense Lamia? :O
Sure he can! :Db
Hah? W-what do you mean, insane? Who's insane?
\o/
[]
Wh-what...? Ragnarok!! Be quiet... you're embarassing me, I don't know what to do with embarassment.
no subject
[To which Lamia immediately said with a huff, "My Id-nim is manly, very manly! How dare you imply he's anything less than a man?"]
But... but yes, I was talking with Lamia here.
[He showed them both the rather ornate bracelet/ring combination piece of jewelry that was on his left hand, and pointed to it.]
How did you know she had a soul, though?
[Curious!Id is wondering how that sensed Lamia. Must have a high ability in order to sense something like that in Lamia.]
no subject
Hey... I said 'be quiet'...
[]
I'm really sorry.
no subject
[Because the person in the uniform shouldn't atone for the sins of some other being it happens to be connected with, somehow?]
So...
[he didn't know quite how to go about to ask what that thing was, or probably how to go about it in a polite manner.]
What is that being on you?
no subject
Ragnarok.
He's my partner... a sword.
no subject
[Another swordsman! They could probably spar some other time. But for now, geeking out about sentient swords!]
Lamia's my sword as well! She just changes shape so as not to take up much space, as well as to have her hidden in plain sight. She's taken a liking to this form, though she can turn herself into other things as well...
[He took a look at his-sword-turned-ornate-jewelry. She fit neatly over his fingerless glove, and she seemed to be somewhat wary of the other sword that was on the other person's head. "Another sword thinking that badly of my Id-nim. And even thinking badly of his own master. Why is that?"]
But for now, this.
I'm Id. What's your name?
no subject
...hey.
[]
Crona. Demon Sword Meister, Crona.
[]
Lamia isn't a person...?
[SLOWNESSS... OTL Forgive me]
She is pretty useful for me. She has helped me in various battles, in more ways than I can count.
[Mollified!Lamia is feeling somewhat better.]
Nice to meet you, Crona.
[Though the title Crona gave made him a little uneasy, especially after having fought various demonic beings where he last came from.]
But, your title. Demon Sword Mei... mei... does that mean that he's really a demon sword?
[Yes, please, color Id a little slow.]
