[The video flicks on to Mikuru, in civilian clothes, holding a small notebook and looking nervous. Despite her nerves, she's getting a lot better at not just reading from the notebook and actually looking up at the camera.] H-hello, Garden! I'm Mikuru, leader of the Garden Festival Committee, and we have some exciting events lined up for you this Valentines Day!
On Valentines Day, that's Tuesday February 14th, we'll be delivering the gifts from your secret admirers to your dorm rooms between 0700 and 0800 hours. You can keep ordering them right to the night before, so if there's someone special you want to send something, it's not too late!
In the morning and afternoon, [and this is where she starts blushing] the GFC will be running h-host and hostess clubs [she clears her throat] in the cafeteria. A host club is a place where girls - [this only occurs to her now] or, um, anyone who likes boys, I guess - can meet and mingle with boys who'll entertain you and m-maybe even flirt with you over some nice tea and snacks... [Can you tell how reluctant she is about this? I think they can tell in Winhill.] A hostess club is the same thing but with girls.
The host club will be in the morning and the hostess club will be in the afternoon. You can sign up for this in the cafeteria at the same table as the secret admirer gifts. [OOC-ly, host club signups are going to be in this thread, just so they don't get muddled with the gifts. Anyway, Mikuru suddenly gets a little sterner.] Due to problems with people signing up their friends for things against their will during last year's carnival, we will now ask to see your Garden ID when you sign up. [This is mostly a formality. If you really want your character in this and your character really wouldn't want to be in this, we can say their friend or whatever caught the GFC kids at a busy time and they were too distracted to ID them.]
[She perks up at this next event, though:] In the evening, we'll be having a movie screening in the quad. Love, Love, Love, last summer's hit romance, will begin at 2100 hours, with popcorn available for 5 gil a box.
