[Mighty stood up, still a bit disheveled from the ... what was it? Before, he was there. Now, he is here. He scratched his head in confusion.]

This looks like NOTHING I've ever seen on Mobius! That building... what odd architecture. Nice garden, I'll admit. Overlanders everywhere! And... other... creatures I've never seen in my life.

[He boggled for a moment, then perked up cheerfully.]

The perfect place to explore and possibly figure out where Ray ran off to! He can't be far. We WERE traveling together!

[With that, Mighty began walking the grounds, adventurer pack in tow, whistling to himself and completely oblivious to the world he'd been sucked into.]

[Sorry Mighty. No yellow flying squirrels to be seen. There is, however, someone who looks remarkably like the reason he's off travelling right now. The choice of greeting, however...]

[...probably doesn't sound quite right from Espio.

The chameleon was quite some way within the grounds - he was in the Quad, in fact, seated on a low wall with a book. On seeing Mighty, he'd pretty much instantly put the book down and was watching the armadillo intently. Why? It was Mighty. His closest friend rival!

He couldn't believe it! He almost didn't want to run up and greet him properly, just in case he was seeing things. Hey, you never know - someone might've thought "Confuse" spells were good for pranks.]

[If this had been just a few weeks earlier she would have had no idea what that walking thing even was. As it is she has a name and even knows more or less where he's from.]

[Which is why she ends up walking right up to him, smiling all the while. Man won't Espio be pleased to see him? The answer is probably no and that's part of why she's so happy with the idea. Espio's given her enough grief over the years that a little teasing and tormenting is totally fair.]

Hey! You're Mighty, right?

[As he walks, Mighty looks around curiously until he finds the source of the sweet voice calling his name. He flashes a large smile.]

That's me! Um... have we met before? How do you know my name?

[mightyarmadillo]

[Mighty spun around, both startled and looking for the source of that awful, familiar bellow.]

Wha...?

[He lays eyes on Espio, his old friend from the Chaotix! Surely he'd have some information about this new, strange place.]

How's it... hey, did you just call me an idiot? Why'd you do that?

[Mighty frowned. Maybe arriving here scrambled Espio's personality somehow.]

Because you're an idiot, idiot.

[And because Espio always calls Mighty an idiot, regardless of whether or not he's being one at the time.

He leans against a nearby wall, trying and failing to hide the pleased grin.]

[She smiles and holds out a hand for him to shake.]
