[Action] In Before Dawn
1.
[Hibiki decided to go out for a run before classes began that morning. Any of the early risers, ie, before 5:30 would see her jogging the path outside Balamb Garden, not straying far from the Garden itself. She's just stretching out now as the Fairy Tones are warming up with her as well. Care to join her for a jog?]
2.
[it's lunchtime and Hibiki felt like her head was going to explode. She thought school was hard before, she had nothing to say about SeeD stuff.]
Mou, there's way too much to learn here! How am I going to learn everything in a semester? I barely can write English!
3.
[Classes are over, and she's doing some karate in a open space. Punching and kicking, it's well practiced but kind of rudimentary at best. But her form was good and she was working out vigorously in a kata.]

Door number three? |D
Nah, those were fighting moves, though he doesn't know what kind. He's going to stop and watch.]
Hey, you're not bad at that!
heheh yay yes!
Thanks! It's a fighting style from back home. I'm just a beginner with it though.

[He holds out a hand, returning the smile.] Nice to meet you, I'm Lea!
no subject
[She shakes his hand vigorously.] Hibiki Houjou. Nice to meet you Lea!
[She's not going to ponder the lack of a last name. Maybe it was a cultural thing from his homeworld.]
I've only been here a month. How about you?
no subject
It sounds like I got here just about a week after you!
no subject
[She grinned.] That's great then! I need to meet more people anyhow.
no subject
[He shrugs.] Hey, we'll get back home eventually, though, right? What classes are you taking?
no subject
Ah well, I'm taking the beginners things. Strategy, combat, and some remedial stuff for English writing and reading comprehension. I'm kind of a terrible student since it's not my first language.
no subject
Hey, me too! Except for the English stuff, I'm lucky, they speak the same language here as back home. They give out translation things, though, right? I've seen those on some people.
no subject
[She grinned and rubbed her head.] Yeah, I've got one of those translation things but it doesn't do anything for my reading comprehension. Or how I can't write things without learning it first.
no subject
...haha, gotcha. So they're not still making you do all the reading, right?

[Besides, then he doesn't have to sit around and read books in silence, because that's boring.]

[Laughing, a little embarrassed.] Me too! I guess it must've been putting me to sleep, I should've spotted you before now.
