[Rapunzel stares at the letter in her hand, reading it again, frowning. This was....so confusing. Hadn't she just been in Corona with Eugene? What did this Headmaster mean? Time Compression? Sorcery? Well, she supposed that she should be grateful she was being given a place to stay, at least. She was a little worried, but tried not to show it as she explored, frying pan in hand and hair pulled back and shorter into a braid trailing just above the ground as she walked, barefoot. Trying to find her way around and to Fisherman's Horizon. Getting familiar with her new surroundings she found herself in.]

E-Eugene.....? I wonder if he's even here....? Or Mother....

[Cid's on his way to the Garden when he spots Rapunzel walking around... barefoot. She looks a little out of place--most people don't go wandering around with frying pans, after all--and rather lost; he assumes she's another poor individual drawn in through time compression. He comes up next to her and gives her a small smile.]

Excuse me, but is there anything I can help you with?

[Marvelous wasn't paying attention to the girl who was lost and was walking by a few feet away. However, as he was walking he felt something strange under his boot and looked down to see he had stepped on. Looked like a bundle of some kind of straw but thinner and..somewhat shinier.

Kneeling down to pick up the strands, Marvelous blinked at them and noted that it didn't feel like straw. It was more like....]

Is this hair?

Wha-? Who are you? [Turning to face him, lips pursed in determination for answers to all the questions she had.]

[Rapunzel is just walking along, minding her own business when she feels a tug at her hair as someone was touching it, pausing and looking behind her.]

Um.....yes?

[A pause, instinctively gripping the handle of her frying pan tighter as she hears him approach, seeming to relax a little as he asks if he can help.]

I just...sort of arrived here. I was wondering where I could go to stay, I guess. This, Garden?

[It shouldn't have surprised him that there was a person attached to this hair but, the thought never really occured to him until now that she was standing right there. Letting go of the few loose strands in his hand, Marvelous took a look at the rest that was braided up.]

Of course I have. But I've never cut my hair. I'm....er...growing it out.

[Mumbles, that habit Gothel so hated. But, that was what Eugene had told those ruffians at the pub earlier, right? So maybe it would work here too.]

[Somehow, he didn't believe that she was just growing it out. Style was one thing but, what practicality would it have for growing it that much?]

Huh. [He's starting to walk away so, if she wanted help, she better get it from him now before he leaves.]

That--[He gestures toward Balamb Garden in the distance.]--would be the Garden. Unfortunately, the dormitories are currently under construction.

[A brief pause and a small but reassuring smile.]

However, if you are a cadet with us, you'll likely find a room for yourself at the inn here.

Tell me where we are supposed to stay?

Oh...[Watching and following the gesture to peer at the Garden.]

I see.....I'm supposed to be a Cadet, so I guess I'll stay at the inn then?

Rapunzel. So, Mister Todd, could you tell me...is there a 'Flynn Rider' here? Or....'Eugene Fitzherbert'?

Oh. That? Yes....I read it, but I still have some questions...I'm supposed to stay with Ahim de Famille, apparently?

I don't know the individual, but I think it safe to assume that she is another cadet here at the Garden. You'll likely meet her at the inn tonight, if not earlier.
