Therapeutic violence [Action, WTR classrooms]
[A grinning Snow is casually pummeling a training dummy in the classrooms. Whatever oddity of time compression has stripped off his brand and replaced it with some other power, he doesn't know, but after some of the earlier adventures he's endured through its questionable charity, he intends to just ride this out.]
[So now he's playing with this new power: density control. And frankly doing quite well at it. The punch he hurls at the dummy starts off light and fast, barely dense enough to engender any resistance even from the air; then, a moment before it lands, his body coalesces into a far more dense form. The punch hits with alarming force, sending the dummy flying.]
Huh.
I think I might've overdone it.

You all right? [He's all but racing over to check on her.] I didn't -- when did you even get here?

He turns to look at the lone individual in the room.]
Is everything okay, instructor?

[He heads over to pick up the dummy.]

[He steps inside.]
May I ask what sort of skills you've been given?
[After all, the guy doesn't exactly look like he needs any additional help in the "I can punch things really hard" department.]

[He becomes, abruptly, tenuous and transparent, demonstrating just how less he can weight by putting his arm directly through the training dummy without effort or apparent impact.]
no subject
That's impressive. Was it difficult to master?
no subject
[He looked down at his bare left forearm, then slapped it lightly with a grin.]
It probably won't last, but why not get good at it while it does?

[Which is about as much work as Yukio's put into his own abilities. He's not, admittedly, too fond of his own new powers.]

[Yukio's bringing up thoughts of shounen manga heroes.]
Is that your profession in your home world?

[Poof. Where did Ashe come from? She's.. still getting used to her power, Astral projection. ... Okay, really, there's no getting used to it.
Ashe is slightly transparent at first, and floating in the air, but when she lands, her body is perfectly solid once more.]

[He moves over to pick up the dummy, looking it over.]
This thing's fine. I've given it worse. Kinda not at my full strength right now.

[Ashe sighs.] I, however, am not to pleased with it. It's nearly impossible to control, and I cannot access any of the powers I had before.
Hard to believe you can get more powerful than that.
no subject
[He chuckles a little, sardonic. Lucky, huh?]
no subject
Hittin' it a little hard there, aren't you?

You picked up some weird power too, huh?
no subject
Somethin' like that, yeah.
Never could do that before. Far as I know, anyway.
no subject
I mean, I still say being able to turn heavier or lighter is weirder. That one at least looks like magic we know. Still, that packed a bit of a punch.
no subject
I'm guessin' we aren't the only ones. Think this is permanent or what?

Did I ever tell you I ended up going back to Cocoon, once, when I was here?
