[Training Center Action!]

[A grat disintegrates to nothingness once Grell is done with it. She's getting a lot better with this chain whip, and that kick of fire when it strikes is her favorite part! Her chain whip returns with a flick of her wrist before continuing deeper inside.

As usual, she's wearing the appropriate clothing, trainers on her feet, and hair tied back into a ponytail. Nothing can stop such fabulous looks.

Except a T-Rexaur.

There is one ahead of her which makes her stop in her tracks. Perfect! She could use some fun. Her sharp teeth show as she allows the beast to charge at her.]

Such a foul disposition so quickly~? [All she has to do is flicker behind it--

As she tries, nothing happens. Alarmed, Grell looks down at her place, wondering why she hasn't moved yet. She tries again with the T-Rexaur ever approaching quickly. Still no movement.]

What's wrong-- [She tumbles out of the way of being rammed into, but has become too slow to avoid a powerful tail swipe. It knocks her into a tree trunk before she crumples to the ground, groaning.]

Grell! [Goes running over there, yet suspiciously not flying, nor perched in a tree.]

[And quickly kicks the T-Rexaur in the jaw. Never fuck with a phoenix's nakama.]

[Super worried face. Yes that ring means all his worrying is doubled. ENJOY THAT.]

[Looks up when her name is called, only catching a glimpse of the action. She sits up, wincing and holding her side.

She loves the worrying over her.]

I'm alive. I might have a fracture. [Yet something else is bothering her.]

A fracture? [Beats up the T-Rexaur with rage.]

The hell happened? You fought Elvoret fine.

[redcinemareel]

[She wishes she could clap, but that may hurt a bit.]

That is what I would like to know. [Picks up her weapon before standing slowly.] I couldn't move as I usually do. [It has been a while since she had a fracture. It smarts.]

Hm... Pull a muscle or something? Maybe you just cramped up. [Casts a quick small healing spell.] You want to go see the nurses?

[redcinemareel]

No, not that sort of movement. [Sighs in relief at the spell, shaking her head.] I'll be fine, perhaps. Thank you. [She casts her own Cure spell as well.] What I'm really concerned about is my lack of mobility.

[She tries to move instantaneously again, which actually works. Grell's right behind Marco now. She crosses her arms, looking perplexed.]

I couldn't do that earlier!

[spareglasses]

[Yukio shows up on the scene just as Grell gets knocked into a tree, and alarmed, he charges in guns a-blazing. Once he's gotten the T-rexaur's attention, he starts to draw it away from her, calling out to try and grab her attention--if she's... conscious, at least.]

Hey! Are you all right?

[redcinemareel]

[There's a commotion nearby, and Grell stirs a bit. She's not unconscious, but probably has a fractured rib. Green eyes look over to the T-Rexaur, seeing someone is there to help out.]

...just a bit. [Strained grin as she sits up, supporting her rib.]

[spareglasses]

[He frowns and redoubles his efforts to bring down the T-rexaur, even tossing in a few elemental stones in the process. When it does finally goes down, Yukio's already holstered his guns and is pulling out a tiny vial of something from his belt. He hurries over to Grell and offers it to her.]

It's a potion--take it. [Kneeling beside her, he gives her a very quick look-over, eyes lingering on the hand bracing her side.] Broken rib?

[redcinemareel]

[She watches him take down the beast with his guns. Such brutish weapons. An eyebrow is raised when he comes over to her, offering a potion.]

How about saying please? [She feels around the injured area, wincing at a light touch to it.] It may be just fractured. Something broken would feel FAR worse.

[spareglasses]

[He glances up at her and frowns before using a quick cure instead. Yukio much prefers using items for healing and not dabbling in this entire paramagic thing, but if the individual's unwilling...]

A fracture is still a break in the bone, but if the pain is not so severe, then it's probably not too bad of one.

[His tone of clinical, like he's been studying the stuff for a while. Yukio glances around, like he's looking for something, before turning his attention back to Grell.]

Do you think you can stand? It'd be for the best to get that looked at in the infirmary.

[redcinemareel]

[Gives him an indignant look. The nerve!]

...thank you. [She tries not to grit that out.]

You asked if it was broken, which would convey a COMPLETE break. [And if she's still able to sass him, she much be fine.] I've been injured more than this. [She does stand, feeling rather sore. The Cure spell did help, yet...]

No.

[spareglasses]

[Yukio sighs and gets to his feet. He won't argue semantics right now, not when he's got an injured person on his hands.]

No?

[He'd immediately think that Grell's referring to the inability to stand, but as she already is...]

I will not be going to the nurse.

Huh.... weird. Is it something the soul reapers take back if you're not killing enough??

Why not? Are you gifted with supernatural healing abilities?

[Gavril, in full Rocket Red suit, had been in the training center to test out the tweaks he had made in the suit when he heard Grell hit a tree. He fires an energy blast from his palm to get the T-Rexaur out of the way and makes a beeline for the fallen student.]

Grell! Are all right?!

...that's something I've not thought of, but also something that has not been heard of.

[While she's behind him, she'll just wrap her arms around him with a hum of thought. This is normal when thinking in the middle of the training center with your fiance!] It could very well be interlinked.

...I think I should TEST this theory.

That, and I dislike the infirmary.

[She groans and moves to sit up, but makes a small pained sound before holding her side. Insufferable, overgrown, reptiles!]

Perhaps...not... [She does eventually sit up, slowly.] What in the Fates is going on...

[Well, if she has supernatural healing abilities, he's a little less worried, but...]

Is it something about the infirmary and the nurse, or are you not partial to the healing arts in general?

[He asks this as someone who does practice medicine, so he's quite curious.]

Hmm...let's put it in a way one can understand. [Walks over to him, invading his personal space and just...running her finger over the frame of his glasses. Such a nice, sturdy pair.]

They get too CLOSE for comfort, in the name of science. I shall not return there unless absolutely necessary.

[spareglasses]

[While he frowns at the invasion of space, Yukio doesn't back down. He has to admit that it's a bit weird having her running her finger over his glasses though.]

I am sorry to hear that you've had such a poor experience. [He's got a sneaking suspicion that said experience comes from her not being a human, but he keeps mum on that matter.] But it's a fair enough reason not to want to go back.

I'm... sorry for assuming things.
