[ To say that Luna is taking being thrown into an alternate dimension rather well is an understatement. At first it was a little alarming to find herself waking up to an enrollment of an entirely different education program after just leaving Hogwarts, to say the least. But after reading the letter sent by the Headmaster explaining the time compression - of course, it had to be time compression - Luna's thoughts were placed on the 'at ease' spectrum of panic.

Currently, she can be found wandering around in the quad area of the Gardens, Headmaster Cid's letter placed firmly in her hands and a quizzical if not vacant aspect to her stare. Anyone passing her will receive the following inquery: ]

Excuse me, but do you perhaps know where I might find some seeds?

[Hermione likes taking her studies into the courtyard on a nice day; fresh air does wonders for study, after all. She's sitting on the bench, immersed in one of her many textbooks when she hears the all too familiar, dreamy voice from a bit away.

Startled, Hermione looks up, her eyes immediately drawn to the direction of the voice before the book falls from her hands, hitting the grass on a soft 'thud'.]

Luna...?

[ Luna turns, and blinks in surprise at seeing the familiar face. Looks like time compression was a little more meddling than Luna had anticpated.

she stops and smiles ]

Oh, hello Hermione.

[Padmé's gone out into the quad in the hopes of settling in the courtyard with her book in hand to read, and then she stops at the question, raising a brow.]

...seeds? Yes, they should be with the instructor in charge of the Home Economics class on the second floor.

[ Luna starts walking, then pauses. ]

You wouldn't happen to know where a stair well is, would you?

[ another pause ]

Or what Home Economics means? I'm afraid I've never taken advanced Herbology before.

[Ron's got a mouthful of food, a snack from the cafeteria in hand and a textbook in the other. He had been looking the other way when that familiar voice had spoken. Looking over then, the redhead makes a horrible and high-pitched choking sound--]

MOUNAH?! ['LUNA?!']

[Give him a second to force himself to swallow his food and pound on his chest, coughing in his shock at seeing the young Lovegood there.]

[ For a minute Claire just watches the girl- she's gotten pretty good at spotting new cadets by now, off-worlder or otherwise... although she also knows well enough that there are other SeeDs and more experienced cadets alike about that are willing to help at a moment's notice. She doesn't really bother making a move herself.

[Impulse is taking a leisurely stroll around the Garden (meaning, he's speeding but people can see him) when he hears someone ask for help. It's not exactly a bank robbery, but it'll do! He doubles back to stop in front of her.]

Seeds? [He disappears for a second, then reappears, hands full of what looks like sunflower seeds.] You mean these? Or-- [And then he disappears again, letting the seeds fall to the ground and returns with generic flower-type seeds.] --these?

[ Luna's eyes go wide at the sudden appearance and reappearance. But she takes the seeds and holds them up to her ear.

She listens for a few moments, then drops the sunflower seeds and repeats it with the flower ones ]
