[Good morning, citizens! You have recently acquired one [1] Mio Amakura. Now, despite the fact that she's had a little time to situate herself here, she's still looking a little lost. While she wanders throughout campus (and you're free to find her almost anywhere of your choosing) she will sometimes turn to her side and open her mouth, as if to address someone. When this someone doesn't magically appear at her side, she looks a little disturbed and then goes back to looking at whatever she was looking at before she had a Mayu Is Missing moment.]

That's true. She deserves to be somewhere comfortable. I owe her that much. [And she's done a pretty poor job of delivering so far. Or so she thinks.]

[A mildly exasperated look shows up on Zephyr's face, and he tries to tamp down the urge to roll his eyes.]

Okaaaay, so what's the deal then? Or is it something you don't or can't talk about?

I'm not sure if I should say. I guess you could say I'm not really sure what's happening at home either.

[That earns Mio an eyeroll, and Zephyr throws up a hand.]

Right, so we won't talk about that anymore. I'm Zephyr. And you are?

[She pauses for a moment, then extends her hand too.] I'm Mio Amakura. It's nice to meet you, Zephyr.

Yeah, nice to meet you, too.

[They shake, and when their hands part, Zephyr folds his arms across his chest. He glances over at her from out of the corner of his eye.]

So you finding everything okay here? Or did I stop you in the middle of lookin' around?

[Mio drops her hand, then moves it to join her other behind her back. She rocks backward on her heels just a little.]

I've only been looking around for a little while. There's a lot to see....

Guess so. [A pause and a smirk slowly stretches its way across his face.] The place looks even better from the air.

[Her mouth forms an o-shape.] Do you seek it like that often?

Nope! Just once. Don't think I'm gonna get to see it like that again either.

I'm gonna let you get back to your tour of school. [A pause. He looks at her, curious.] You're gonna be okay, right?

Thank you very much, Zephyr. I'll be all right, promise. [She smiles, then bows quickly.]

[He gives her an odd look about the bow and awkwardly dips his head in response.]

[He then turns on his heel and heads off toward the quad.]
