Not happening. [frowning again. this is why dealing with Tavros gives her headaches. THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS]

I don't think that a member of an admittedly fashion-blind species really has much weight in the great debate over whether I'm a summer or a fall.

[there is no such thing as harmless when one tangles with a Lalonde]

No, you can't. The sacred domain of fashion and color palettes is something I've done very well to protect my whole life, and I don't intend to stop now.

[not yet you're not]

Turn back fair general, this way lies only despair and betrayal beneath the veneer of ultimate power.

[it's a promise]

You'll find you've been poisoned before the idea even entered your head. The gatekeeper thinks of of eventualities.

Since we decided to turn this conversation on fashion into a neo-Roman mythology romp.

I did say neo-Roman, didn't I? Allow me to indulge in the small snippets of more modern references I've gleaned from John.

There's not much to tell beyond the fact that John enjoys movies that would be best used as kindling in a fire.

I could hardly tell. [sooooo snarky] But then I've done my fair share of consuming every viable piece of literature on hand, so I may simply be blinded by association.

If we went down the entire laundry list of books I've enjoyed we'd be here until the Time Compression itself fell apart due to its own machinations. It's easier to start with a few and then work out from there, and as such I'd like to call Lovecraft and Poe to the floor. Always consistently enjoyable throughout their entire repertoire.

It makes me feel safer. [eyeroll to match your own]

Yes, my dearest author has quite the fan following that would make the master of horror himself toss and turn at night. You'd be best to stick with the original mythos.

Please. I'm more than preoccupied with just keeping track of all my psychological case studies, I'd have to invent a new day in the week to have time to write meaningless drivel.

I knit. It's a very productive hobby, I assure you.
