[Action; Various locations] -- FIGHT!
[There was nothing Damian loathed more than homework. Now, that may seem to be a normal child response to homework, but he disliked it for different reasons. He simply did not understand how writing generic answers to questions either reinforced what was learned in classes or was a way to show instructors that the students were paying attention. Didn't they know how easy it was to simply regurgitate a book from the library to the mimic the effect of doing this work? All of his previous tutors had relied on practice and practical uses for whatever was being taught, even when learning a foreign language. There was no need for homework. That was how classes should be run--showing the real world applications for whatever it was that was being taught.
A knock at the door forced him away from his musings. It must be for Superboy, as no one ever came to visit him. Not that he was lonely or anything. Unfortunately for them, the boy wasn't there at the moment. Whatever, it wasn't his problem, he'll just--another round of knocking. This person was not going to leave him in peace, was he? Fine, then. He'll just answer the door and tell them he isn't here so he can be left alone once more.
Damian stood and crossed to the door, which he threw open. Of course it would be the last person in the world he wanted to see.]
Drake.
[OOC Note: The main thread is for Tim and Damian only. However, feel free to post a new thread of your characters seeing what happens when the two enemies push each other too far (just put whatever location your characters at in the subject line so others know where you are--they're going to be tangoing throughout the school).
Stare. Gawk. Make a note to send them to detention for the rest of their life. We only ask you don't break them up (that's Superboy's job). Thanks and enjoy the fireworks!]

[Shakes his head and looks back to Damian.]

Damian had his breath back and motioned for Drake to make his next move.]

He really should have. Tim flew forward, legs kicking out.]

You don't have anywhere else to go.

[Damian wasn't going to let a little thing like leg pain get the better of him... He charges straight at Tim, planning on throwing a punch when he gets close enough.]

Taking a running start, he got a foot up on the ledge, enough to launch himself straight into the air, letting himself fly. He didn't have a rope with him, but luckily the quad was right below; he could land and roll.]

Tired yet? [Has to ask, his shoulder and side aching; it was obvious, as he was favoring it more.]

[Charges at Drake once more, aiming a kick at Tim's bad side with his good leg.]

He watches for a minute, and then seeing what's happening he begins to head over.]

He recognizes Tim and... wait-- is that... is that his roommate? Cripes. Yeah, this has got to stop. Now. This is as bad as ... Wally and Robin rolling around and duking it out.]
Hey!
[Heavy, quick footsteps, and then there he is at their side.]

[Grits his teeth.]
It's rude to ignore someone-- [Tightens his grip; he's growling all of this out through tightly grit teeth.] --when they are talking to you--! [Pulls! Yes, that's right. He's yanking them apart, yanking them off of each other like a frustrated, pissy father would with his two arguing sons.]

Anyway, the punch Drake threw connected with his jaw and caused Damian to bite down on his tongue. Hard. He was about to punch Drake again when suddenly he was being forcibly pulled away. Being too far away to punch him and unable to kick him unless using his bad leg or attempting to kick through Conner, Damian chose his one remaining option--he attempted to spit on Drake.]
Let me go!

... [Breathing hard, he chooses to stay silent.]

And he's supposed to share a room with this guy? Augh.
Ignoring Damian's demand, Conner fixes him with that scowl and a hard glare.]
Don't give me orders.
[In Conner's opinion Tim is the smarter of the two, keeping quiet and not making demands.]

Then he looked at Drake.
Drake had already thrown in the towel, he could see it in his eyes and in his body language. There was no point in fighting an opponent who was finished. It was like kicking an animal--it brought no satisfaction.]
Whatever, I was done anyway.
no subject
Good. [Finally says, moving just a little so that maybe when Conner was finished, he could stand and they could get on with their day. Or at least get away from each other.]
no subject
Conner looks between the two and he quietly waits. If Damian says he's done then he's done but Conner's going to stay right where he is just in case no matter how worn down and beaten they both look from their fight.]
