[It had been a couple days, yet she was still so angry. She could hardly remember the last time she was this angry.. which was odd, considering how prone she was to anger. Being the rebel princess she was, she hadn't been attending the 'classes' she was told to, and instead confined herself in the library, reading book upon book about.. well, everything. Magic, history of the world she was now in, mythology and folklore.. anything that could provide an answer on a way to get back.

Of course, she could only go so long with no rest. Ashe is currently out cold, sitting at a desk. Her head is resting on top of a large red book, (an encyclopedia, by the looks of it) gently snoring.

Wake her up?]

... No. It's not. Not at all.

[It's nice to know someone understands.] I suppose I'll have to give it more time, then.. Perhaps by then they'll have found a way back.

We can only hope. I was lucky in that...I had very little unfinished business. [ A pause at that, as she remembers the instant leading up to her death. And yet, to be alive--frozen in time--then her land, also, is frozen. ]

I know it is not often so.

[Pause.] I don't believe I ever got your name. You may call me Ashe.

[ A polite nod of the head; she won't bother with salutes when this new arrival clearly hasn't had the time to learn them. ]

Elika. A pleasure, Ashe.

[ A pause, vaguely uncomfortable. She touches her throat; in the last few minutes of their conversation, it's become apparent what that niggling familiarity is. ]

Is it just me, or...?

[There is a pause before she speaks, as well. However, when she speaks, it's abrupt.]

It certainly is. I've never heard of anything like this before...but then, with Time Compression, anything is possible.
