[action post - lobby]
[Vriska Serket stuck out like a sore thumb in crowds everywhere she went. It was a strange feeling, one that helped fuel the alienation she felt in this world. What with her gray skin, bright yellow eyes, candy-corn colored horns, and strange left eye (complete with seven pupils, totaling up to eight) there really was no mistaking her for anyone else... anyone else human, that is. Not that she would ever try to pass off as a human- she liked being a troll. It was just hard. It was hard and no one here understood what she felt (not that she'd ever talk about it).
Yet after being here for a sweep (two years) most people who lived at the Gardens were used to seeing her and so the staring was minimal. Better for her, thankfully. As she walked through the lobby, pack slung over her shoulder and long, black hair tied back into a braid, she was not in the mood to deal with gawkers. Stupid, pink wrigglers. Don't know how to mind their own business.]

Unless she was sent back home.
Or had been killed.
In which case, she would probably had perched herself near the entrance for the rest of her life--or however long this place entrapped her. Still, somehow Vriska had ended up entering without her noticing, but at the very least her persistence meant that she was they were in the lobby at the same time. Nepeta smelled her before she saw her. A sweep hadn't changed that spidery scent and it stood out amongst all the others.
She spun around when she got whiff of it and stared through the crowd and--there. She stood out so starkly, and Nepeta wasted no time in jumping down from where she was surveying the area and running on all fours through the crowd. Some people shouted as she slipped in and out of their legs but she paid them no heed. When she was close---]
FRISKA!
[and she sailed through the air to greet her in a tacklepounce]

And sent her skidding back at least a foot.] Oof--!
[Uttering a few choice (curse) words Vriska hissed, ready to go off on the asshole that jumped her, but opening her eyes and seeing who it was...
Those words died on her lips.] Leijon?!

[There was so much she wanted to say, so much she wanted to ask but it was as if her throat had closed up. Her face scrunched up and she felt a knot form in her throat and she just nodded.]
Y-yea. It's me.

Sitting up, Vriska crinkled her nose.] Did you have to jump me?

No. I'm done sitting here. Let's go. [She stood up,shifting her pack again and moved to head back to her room. Nepeta would do best to hurry after her.]

Um. Fur about eight days! [there's a strange irony in that]
