[Dawn had lost count of how many times she'd read the acceptance letter. Skimming through it once again, she made a neat crease and placed the letter in her bag, then sighed. Today was an odd day. Exciting, yes. It would have been nice if she was at least told she'd be transported to a different world and enrolled in a military academy, though.]

... Hm. Time compression. I have to wonder if this has anything to do with Dialga. But.. how could it? I thought I calmed it? I wouldn't think it would be angered again so soon.

[Dawn looks down at the lone pokeball in her hand. She hadn't opened it yet. She was scared of what might be in it... or what might not. She decided she'd do that later. Besides, if it was her drapion or another one of her large pokemon, it might destroy something. It'd be better to look later. For now, it'd be a good idea to find out what was going. That was always the best gambit when thrust into a new place.. right?]

This..? Well, yes, I suppose it is spherical in shape, but I think the 'spheres' you're talking about come with a different context. This is a pokeball.

A po-ke-ball [said in a very matter-of-fact way.] is a capsule used for storage of Pokemon. Pokemon are creatures with special, hidden powers native to my world.

I suppose so, yes. Where I'm from, most people have pets called Pokemon who assist them in every day life. I had six, but when I awoke here, I.. only had one. I don't know which one this is, either.

Oh, no, not at all. When activated, the pokeballs shoot a beam like laser which contains the Pokemon. Even gargantuan sized pokemon can fit into these.

... I'm.. not exactly sure why. I've never really questioned it before.

A.. sorceress? No sir. Dialga is a Pokemon, one who has power over time. Palkia, another of similar caliber, has power over space.

What is a sorceress? They were mentioned in that letter, but were never elaborated on. Are they some type of.. magician?

Sorceress are women who can do virtually any type of magic ever. One of them caused the Time Compression that brings people here -- it involves space too, seeing as we're all from different planets for the most part. Wait... did you say Pokemon?

Dialga, along with Palkia, was forcefully summoned from their respective dimensions by a extremist organization. He wanted to use their powers to create a new, seperate universe - one free of emotions, so that there would be no conflict.

However, I thought I quelled his anger. I'm.. not so sure now.

Well, to put it simply, I defeated them. Maybe they earned some type of respect for me and decided to halt? I'm not sure. Pokemon are sometimes difficult to understand. To be honest, I don't particularly care why it decided to stop, as long as it did.
