[Mandatory field trip. Of course it'd be a mandatory field trip. Squall was probably reveling in the joy that would be seeing Seifer at Esthar. Probably mock him over whatever hesitations he was feeling about confronting just about everything wrong with the world - even if it was right in the time, which he was convinced of. Just slightly.

Maybe. Of course this was all in the past and Seifer is really not the type to dwell on this except for that nag-nag-nagging feeling that there's no tomorrow. Odine wouldn't notice him. Or mention him. Right? Yeah no. If he even breathes a mention of Seifer he's going down. Screw the formalities. And that voice telling him otherwise needs to shut up. Really.
