[Those of you walking around the Quad today get to see a.... rather interesting sight.

Namely, a large dragon is currently curled up, either relaxing or dozing -- it's pretty hard to tell.

Kurt had admittedly missed this form quite a bit. It felt as natural and normal now as his original elven form, and even if the unfortunate "death" part carried over, it was still a relief to feel the sensation of having wings again, even if he wasn't doing much more than twitch or flick them.

He makes a content noise, shifting his position and stretching his wings a moment before settling back down.]

[The Headmaster is out and about that afternoon to stretch his legs. Instead of staying cooped up in his office and walking laps around it, he's taken to the main level and eventually makes his way to the Quad for some fresh air.]

[Cid pauses as soon as he spots the impressive and frightening beast resting in his Quad. His first thought it so turn around and walk back out, but what's a dragon to a few Sorceress Wars?]

[He decides to walk over and see it for himself up close! He clears his throat once he's within a foot of it, hands behind his back, waiting.]

[The dragon lifts its head, then yawns a little. Though the voice is deeper and somewhat warped, it's still Kurt's.]

Headmaster.

Ah, Instructor Dragonsblood.

[Cid nods. Phew!]

Ah, sorry about that. Sometimes I forget where I am.

[He shifts his form, scratching his neck sheepishly.]

I assure you it's quite all right. If you have a need to ah... stretch your wings, then by all means!

[The Headmaster offers him a smile once he's shifted back.]

Thank you, I appreciate it. It's kind of hard having to keep it under wraps for so long to keep people from freaking out.

Though I really should've warned you about it first, I know.

But hey, if you ever need anything taken somewhere fast, you know where to find a super-speedy dragon now!

[That draws out an amused chuckle from the Headmaster.]

I will be sure to keep that in mind! Nonetheless, yes, a warning would have been greatly appreciated, but once an off-worlder enters this world and seeks refuge within the walls and halls of Garden, I make sure not to press for any information they might feel uncomfortable sharing.

It seems only fair, I feel, to wait until they feel ready.

I understand that perfectly, and let me thank you for it on behalf of some of the people who will come. And myself as well. When you're adjusting, it's nice to have a place where you're just another person, but still valued and safe.

That said, I trust you, Headmaster, and this place is my home. If you want to know anything, please ask me. I'd be more than happy to share. Since most things I'd take for granted you might actually be interested in, though, I wouldn't know where to start talking if it was left up to me.

All right, dragon. Whatever you're here for, you're not going to get it without a fight!
