007 [Action, open to all]

[It's not a common sight, but Luki's hard at work in the library. She's doing some research for a project and writing out notes. For a brief moment, her vision blurs and she feels dizzy, but after clutching at her head for a couple of seconds, it passes. What she doesn't notice immediately is that she's got a nosebleed.

She feels moisture coming out of her nose and sniffles, but a drop of blood drops on her paper.]

Aaah! Gross!

[Sharpay only looks up from her own research at Luki's cry of "Gross!" In a second, she's over checking on Luki, more out of concern about anything gross in the library and yelling in the library than Luki's actual well being, but seeing the blood, she sighs and fetches her a box of tissues.]

[The ten year old looks up at Sharpay gratefully before taking a tissue and giving it a good blow. That was...probably not the best idea because now the blood's dribbling a little faster.]

...aw man! This sucks!

[Sharpay rolls her eyes.] Don't do that. Just lean forward and pinch your nose like this.

[She demonstrates on her own nose, pinching just below the bridge of her nose. Girl's from New Mexico; it gets hot in the summer.]

[Luki follows Sharpay's example, pinching her nose while holding a tissue underneath just in case. She's used to never getting sick at all - her body regenerates from serious injuries in a matter of minutes normally.]

I felt really weird and then this happened...

Weird? [First aid classes were a long time ago.]

My head went all...spinny. The room was moving even though I wasn't and then my nose started bleeding.

Hm... [Sharpay decides this is outside of her experience.] You'd better get to Dr. Kadowaki; she'll be able to help you out.

Normally I don't even have stuff like this happen. I'm really healthy.

[It's not easy to scare Luki, but this bothers her.]

All the more reason to get it checked out, then. [Alas, Sharpay doesn't quite get it...]

[If only because ew, this is nasty. Blood is supposed to only happen when she gets cut in battle!]

Do you think Dr. Kadowaki can make it stop?

Give it some time and the bleeding should stop on its own. Dr. Kadowaki can try and figure out what caused the dizziness, though.

Well, at least it's not as bad as when I was stuck with the zombie status for more than a week. I couldn't even eat cookies!

[GASP.] No cookies?! [Sharpay used to date a baker! She still misses his delicious food!]

I was just working on my homework and then my head felt funny and everything went all spinny and my nose started bleeding.

[There's a slight pout before she adds]

And I didn't even get in a really schway fight first!

Your head felt funny?

[Hands her some tissues.]

Uh huh. It was like being spun around really fast, only not, and I couldn't stop it even though I was just sitting here.

[At first, Luki tries dabbing at her nose. The blood dribbles and it's bothering her, so she tries sniffling, which leads to her having the taste of blood at the back of her throat.]


Ugh, this sucks...

That does sound weird. You want to see a nurse? Do you still feel like that?

I don't feel so bad now...but stuff like this normally never happens.

[Eventually Luki gets frustrated enough with the nosebleed that she stuffs rolled up bits of tissue into her nostrils.]

[The thought of teaming up with Marco to beat up something makes her happy and she offers up a big smile, although it's a little less cute than normal with rolled up tissue bits in her nostrils.]

We'll catch it and if it has arms, you can pin them back. And then I'll kick it in the face if it has one.

[Way more cute as far as Marco's concerned. And he grins.]

[Katara hears the small exclamation as she's in the library several shelves away, looking for a book to help in her research. She peers over the top of the books lined up to see Luki holding her nose, and worried she makes her way over to the younger girl.

It's the blood on the paper that sets off alarms in her head.]

Luki! Are you okay?

[Aside from the blood trickling out of her nose, she does feel better now. But Luki is a little freaked out by the whole experience and wants some attention, so she makes a sad face at Katara as she explains what happened.]
