[After checking her class roster, Tifa has noticed a familiar name on it that made her quite happy to see. Heading over to the dorms, Tifa made her way slowly down the halls until she came to the room she was looking for.

Knock knock, Yuffie.]

[Yuffie looks up from rearranging the rather Spartan furnishings of her room. Visitors? She didn't know anyone here well enough to have a visitor. Probably someone for Katara. She shrugged and made her way to the door, yanking it open.]

Yeah, whaddya want? Katara's not here right no-- oh. [Whoa.] Tifa?!

[Tifa offers a smile to her longtime friend.]

I thought I'd come visit. You're settling in alright?

Yeah, I'm settlin' in fine. How'd you even know I was here? I had no idea anyone else I knew would be here! [Despite her surprise, she's definitely not unhappy to see a familiar face. Tifa's good people.]

[Yuffie gives Tifa her most innocent smile. Which is to say not innocent at all.] Hey, I'm sure you're great!

C'mon, you know I don't expect any special treatment. Not like I'll be needin' it anyway, I'm all kinds of experienced.

Uh-huh. Experienced. [She tried to keep a straight face with that, but a smirk managed to come forth.]

Hey! Don't gimme that look! I helped save the planet, too, you know. [Yuffie folded her arms for emphasis, cocking her hips to one side.] You know I've got the goods.

I know, I know. But the look on your face was priceless. [She can't help but tease. She loves you, Yuffie.]

Betcha none of your other students are full-fledged super-awesome ninjas, though. I'm totally gonna ace that class. How long y'been here, anyway?

I'm pretty sure none of them have the expertise like you do.

[She pauses, thinking about the last question.] A little more than a year, I think? It's been a while.

Huh. Weird. Can't disagree, though, I've only been here a few days and I already kinda miss the guys at home. I mean, not Cait Sith, but like, everyone else.

[Yuffie looked, for a moment, as though she'd had a sudden epiphany, and stepped away from the door to allow Tifa enough room to pass through.]

Sorry, I'm bein' all kinds of rude. You wanna come in, instead of just standin' in the hallway?

[She laughed softly.] I'm sure you even miss Cait Sith, Yuffie.

[She nodded, stepping side.] Who's your roommate?

Maaaaybe, but that's kind of a stretch. [Yuffie grinned, giving an easy shrug and turning her hands palm-side-up.]

Her name's Katara. She seems alright so far, talked to her for awhile when I moved in. Know her?

[There's a beat before she points a finger at her friend.] I don't want to hear that you've taken anything of hers, okay?

Hey, I've kept my hands to myself! [Yuffie threw her hands up, fingers wide, as if to demonstrate.] ... so far. I mean, I have to live with her, right? Wouldn't be smart to take her stuff. Not like I can make a quick getaway.
