[It's happening all over again.

Gakupo stood in front of the car he's sure he crushed into a few poles before, but it looked brand new. Maybe the insurance was pretty good at covering all those damages. He looks to his left and...the instructor is giving him a glare. A GLARE.

Obviously the instructor remembers the nightmare that is Gakupo's driving.

He swallows hard and slumps down. This term will be the toughest yet...]

Heh. Don't worry Gakupo. [Pats the purple head soothingly.]

At least it didn't go upside down. [Clearly that glare and sigh of exasperation wasn't just for Gakupo.]

I had a few close calls of that. [Looks over to Marco.] Is this your first time taking this course?

[Sighs and adds completely insensitively.] Driving is for people without wings.

[Looks behind himself, hopeful that he'll sprout some wings.] ...I think you're wrong.

Really? [Pales glancing over at his car. Which is upside down.]

Ah sorry Gakupo. You could always get a ride from someone though. Or ride a Chocobo, they have wings.

[...OH! Well! Never mind then! Peers at the car too, thinking that the both of them in this class meant that the cars wouldn't have enough insurance.]

I take it back.

Actually, I've ridden a chocobo before. They can be quite fast! I'm not sure if they're good at flying, though.

Well, for flying, there's always the Garden itself?

I don't think these things fly either, right?

Even the Garden has it's ups and downs when it comes to flying. Excuse the pun. [Chuckles.]

I doubt they do. Maybe not flying is what makes them so fast.

[And here comes their instructor, ready for them to give steering practice a try.]

I wonder if we could go last...

That's probably for the best. At least then the others will get a chance.

I don't think I've ever seen a chocobo fly. They can swim a little if it's not too deep, but I've never heard of a flying chocobo before.

[Rinoa's not enjoying this class either and has been mourning the fact that it's a requirement since she found out that ti was a requirement. Still, a girl has to do what a girl has to do and if Selphie can pass the class then well, she could too!]

I'm sure it's not that bad, I mean with some practice how hard can it be?

[Turns at the familiar voice, but he looks less than pleased by her words.]

How hard can it be?! This is our second time taking this course! [Juts his thumb over to Marco.] His car is over there! [Points over to the upside down car.]

Well, your second time. To be fair... this is my first.

Although... the banned me from steering the Moby Dicks.

[She looked at the car again, eyes widening a little.]

But they make it look so easy!

[After all, she's seen Squall and the others driving before and they all seemed so natural at it.

Still she eyes the car with suspicion.]

Just how did you manage to get it upside down?

R-Right...well... [Scratches the back of his head.]

[He shrugs at her question.] It's not that hard. Just give the car too much gas, a quick turn of the stirring wheel and whoosh. Off it goes. [Suddenly he beams proudly.] I haven't flipped a car though!

That's pretty much how I did it, yup. It was like "oh shit! Wall right there" So I avoided the wall. Or tried.

[It was that dangerous? How has someone not died in this class yet? Still that doesn't matter in the end, there are bigger things to worry about.]

I'll make sure to be careful then. I'm not about to let a driving class keep me from graduating! [No, she'd become a SeeD and prove that she was every bit as capable as anyone else.]

That would be a bad way to miss graduation. [Panicking a little.]

Maybe the teacher will let us slide if we can make it up with extra work... that doesn't involve actual practice.

Maybe find someone who can help you practice outside of class? That's what I did for bladed weapons an it really made a huge difference. Not that I really liked spending so much of what little free time we get training, but what other choice do we have?

Well... I guess... Espio can drive... but....

I'm not sure he'd even be willing to try.

[Even as they speak, Gakupo is just...sliding back so the teacher doesn't pick him until the very end.]

I guess extra practice with or without an instructor wouldn't make a difference in terms of damage.

It can't hurt to ask right? What's the worst that can happen, he'll say no?

Or try to kick me in the head for even asking since he knows we'd crash.

I don't even know who this 'Espio' person is, and from the sounds of it, I'd like to not ask. Getting kicked in the head doesn't sound so appealing, because we'd definitely crash.

Maybe we can just make a sign asking for tutoring lessons and see who's willing to offer?

[He's starting to walk away, but the instructor doesn't seem to be stopping him.]
