[Yes, the back-up generators did warm the place back up, and someone had put a fire in the hallway even before that (which had been nice, though convincing the distressed Tobias to come where it was warm had been a difficult task), but that was far too much cold and now Espio - a cold-blooded lizard who just wasn't suited to that climate - is a little bit ill. That's what he gets for running around in it and stubbornly insisting on helping to fight rather than do the sensible thing and stay wherever was warm.

The worst had passed, and it really had mostly been a case of gradually getting warm again, but Espio is still lethargic, miserable and bedridden.]

[Marco and Grell had saved the day, and Tobias was so thankful to have his bracelet back he had almost glued it to his wrist. Of course, most everything had completely left his mind once Espio had gotten sick: the desire to help had immediately kicked in, and Tobias hadn't left his friend's side for more than a minute or two to get whatever was necessary since the lizard was confined to bed. No matter what Espio may have tried, Tobias had stubbornly refused to give up, even when assaulted with pillows.

At the moment, the boy's settled just short of the bed, drawing quietly; the book he has is already full of a ton of things for Espio, mostly of what he remembers Espio talking about.]
