[After a week of chaos where Garden was still immobile and relied on its' backup generators, the intercom seems to be fully functional again. The bell chimes at exactly 1200, signaling an announcement.]
Good afternoon, Balamb Garden. It is 1200 hours on Monday, December 6thth. It's been a rather eventful week, hasn't it? [A small chuckle.] Thankfully we were able to get in touch with the engineers down in Fishermans' Horizon and they were able to come out and help fix the power outage problem as well as the other damages brought on by the snowstorm.
A warm 'thank you' for all the SeeDs and cadets who stepped up to the challenge and helped eradicate the sudden influx of fiends which populated the school due to the power outage. Even in such an expected situation, we were greatly impressed by the display of quick thinking and bravery by the students. We are confident that you will all make excellent SeeDs once your education is completed.
Without further ado, we will take flight to reach our destination just a bit further north past the mountain range. Once we land, all Cadets are free to spend the winter break as they see fit-- explore the area, acquaint yourselves with the cadets at our sister school, or stay on board Garden and utilize the facilities which are open to all students during the holiday.
