[A is for Action: Marco is flitting about the halls using the Headmaster's absence to decorate as much of the garden as he can with ridiculous streamers, sparkles, glitter, and pink and purple confetti. Seriously, this stuff is everywhere. It's worse than the bubbles from when the washing machines overflowed. There are also turnips everywhere. Some are just plain old normal turnips, some are fake turnips, some are made of glass and appear to be paper weights, some are just paint on paper, some are plaster. But there are turnips everywhere. Almost as much as the streamers. It's like Easter eggs but with turnips.]

[The reason for this won't be clear until the clock strikes midnight (for those who are more adventurous about defying curfew now that there is no Disciplinary Committee to kick your asses back into bed) when Marco finally makes a RIDICULOUS PINK AND PURPLE BBS POST. With sparkles. Having a wife who specialized in computers comes in handy sometimes. B is for BBS:]

Unrelated, but my Pops' birthday was on the six. I usually have a quiet celebration, but this year I thought I'd do something a little different. Who is someone who had a really big impact on your life? My Pops obviously hugely affected mine, but I'd love to hear about yours.

Aye, turnips, the most important and versatile of vegetables. Turnips can be used for everything and anything, even lanterns. [Normally it's pumpkins or larger gourds, but it is a real thing.]

May I ask how they affected you?

Well, Merlin was the first person here that I confided in about my hair and its power, he and Cissie were my best friends here before they both went back home. Eugene...he's helped me through a lot, here and back home. It's because of him that I was able to leave the tower for the first time. Mother....it's complicated.
