005 [Action, Open to All]

[Bulla's been spared some of the worst status effects, though she wasn't fortunate enough to be left alone entirely. Everything she's been doing lately has been at high speeds. A simple walk for her has been at a sprinting pace for everyone else, and the one time she actually ran in the past week had been somewhat disastrous, ending with her running headlong into a wall. This is getting old, but at least Bulla's been able to sleep.

Currently, her main problem is slowing herself down proportionately so that she doesn't crash into anyone. She has to keep reminding herself that she's faster, rather than everyone else being slower. Bulla's attempting to walk down the halls right now. Attempting, being the operative word. Her body language shows that she's walking, but her pace is that of a sprinter. Rounding a corner, she crashes right into some poor unsuspecting soul]

I'm so sorry!

'I find myself wondering if I'll ever get used to this place. Supposedly this whole status thing is only temporary, and I was lucky enough to avoid it altogether. Still, walking through a giant flying military training academy is weird enough as it is; the last thing I need are some zombies thrown here and there to spruce things up.

[ If Kyon was someone who was used to fighting, or combat, or any of that, he might have taken the hit on his feet, or maybe dodged it, or backflipped to compensate for the force of impact. However, being a normal average guy, he is instead sent sprawling to the ground.

He pushes himself up into a sitting position, rubbing the side of his head with a wince. ]

[That poor unsuspected soul turned out to be a blond girl coming from the corner. Minako thought she would wonder around a bit more to learn about the place. Instead she got something else. CRASH! Minako was pushed back and dropped to the ground. She rubbed her behind after getting the wind knocked out of her, literally. Sorry Bull if she sound a bit bitter at first. Damn her luck.]

Oww... What truck just hit me?

[It was rare lately for Rinoa to leave her room, being blind for this long was really taking a toll on her though and she just couldn't handle the idea of being alone right now. So there she is, in the hallway, Angelo doing a great job at guiding her in the right direction as she attempts to head for the cafeteria. She's hoping the noise of other people being around will help her feel just a little less isolated.

Then her world is turned topsy turvy as someone plows into her at what seems like an incredibly high speed. (Since when you combine Bulla's haste with how unbalanced Rinoa is right now, it's a mess.) Falling down, she can't help but let out a cry of surprise as her butt hits the ground. Angelo's reassuring muzzle nudging her face combined with Bulla's, slightly odd sounding voice is enough to tell her just what had happened.]

Bulla? [She hadn't heard from the other girl in a while, further accented by her refusal lately to leave her dorm room.] It's okay. I'll be alright. [Climbing to her feet is a slow and awkward experience and when she's done she's totally managed to turn herself around.] Don't worry about it, I'm fine.

Nah, it's all right. [Marco is actually at the same high speeds Bulla is.] Probably my fault. You okay?

I'm really, really sorry about this. And yeah. I thought it was supposed to wear off, but it's been like this for days.

[She's still bouncing up and down, even in her current state. She offers her hand]

[ He rubs his head for another second before taking her hand to pull himself up. Well, it's not like he wasn't used to physical abuse. If nothing else, dealing with Haruhi had given him a decent level of tolerance. ]

Don't worry about it; I've had worse, anyway. Besides, it's not your fault that this status thing is going around, so it's fine.

[Bulla smiles sheepishly. It's still embarrassing, even if it's not really her fault]

I'm just glad I didn't wind up with 'berserk' or 'confusion'. Or 'zombie'.

[While this is annoying, she will admit she's more fortunate than others have been. For that matter, other people are fortunate she doesn't have berserk or confusion. She's come to terms with the fact that she hits rather hard]

If nothing else, I'm glad the 'zombies' aren't eating everyone. I was a little freaked out when I first heard about it. Like I was thrown into some kind of cliche horror movie, or something like that.

[ He takes a second to dust himself off before cramming his hands in his pockets. ]

I just got here a few days ago, so I apparently avoided this whole mess. Uh, sorry that you didn't, though.

A little bruised maybe, but I'm okay. [She smiles in what she hopes is a reassuring manner though it's not like she can tell if Bulla can see it or not considering she's blind right now.] I've been through way worse before, really!

I'm glad, too. You're lucky you weren't here when we all started having nightmares before.

[The bruising comment makes Bulla worried, no matter how much Rinoa reassures her]

Still, I didn't mean to run into you like that. Do you want me to walk with you down to the infirmary?

[Even with Angelo there to watch over Rinoa, Bulla's still feeling slightly guilty.]

Yeah. We had nightmares for weeks, every time we fell asleep. It sucked.

[Bulla nods. It was more than sucky, but that's the best way to sum up the experience]

Oh no, it was when the school got really shaken up...I think it was an engine malfunction in the Garden? I was in the parking lot when it happened and the thing flipped over on me.

Yeah, I imagine that would be pretty awful. And now that the nightmares are over, people are getting these status effects.

I've been staying in my room, but it gets so lonely sometimes I just had to get out and be around people!
