[And lo and behold, the recluse has finally stopped hiding in his room every spare moment.

Tobias has settled himself in the Quad, now wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, with his knees somewhat up and a drawing pad balanced on his lap. Next to him is a loaf of bread, pieces of which he keeps picking off and lightly tossing to the birds to get them to settle and eat. Once they start doing so, he immediately goes to work on the pad, blowing off spare lead and eraser shavings every so often.]

Drawing again? [Playfully and lightly leans his arms on Toby's head and crosses a sandaled ankle over the other.]

[Tobias blinks, his concentration momentarily broken.]

Yeah.

[He points with the end of his pencil, plucking off another piece of bread and lightly tossing it forward.]

[Whistles for one to come sit and pose and for Toby and about three or four do.]

[That gets a surprised blink, but his eyes light up, and he immediately gets to work on drawing all of the ones that settled.

After a few minutes he's finished, and holds it up to let the birds see.]

No. I just liked drawing because I had something to do when I was hiding.

Yeah. After I started hurting people, I ran away and hid so they wouldn't hurt me and I wouldn't hurt them anymore.

[ The Quad is a nice place to be, to take a walk in. Minako stretches for a bit because she walks forward and curiously takes note of the boy sketching and feeding the birds.

Quietly, she approaches, still watching. ]

[Tobias is intently focused on drawing, which means Minako is likely there for a bit before he blinks and looks over at her.]
