1|| Bringing Unsexy Back
[This is a very annoyed-looking young man wandering down the corridors, grumbling about 'make-up classes' and 'stupid temporal-screw-ups'. You might recognise him from a couple of months back, but to Ace, it feels like he was only gone for a day. Which is why it really sucks to get yanked back to find that so long has passed, he has to re-start lessons . Feel free to torment him. ♥]

[She does her best to be nice as long as someone hasn't seriously annoyed her, after all]
I mean, it's probably not going to help for every subject, but it's a start, right?
no subject
Yeah, I don't know how many classes we have in common, but it's a help. And hey, it's nice just to have the offer. There's only a week to catch up on anyway.

[Something that everyone had needed, she suspects. In spite of the nightmares, she's feeling better about herself. It's as though they focused her a little.]
Since Fight Club has been going pretty well, I'm thinking of starting a Fashion Club, too.

[She smiles brightly while discussing Fashion Club]
I've got a few people interested already and unlike Fight Club, lots of visitors will be welcome. It's not like I'm going to hold meetings for that club in a sectioned off area of the Training Center, after all. Visitors can come for fashion advice or a makeover before a big event or a date, for example.

[Bulla is content. She's succeeded in explaining at least one of the virtues of a fashion club]
17:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Training Center.

Got it! Guess you'll see me there the week after next, or something.

[She's not one hundred percent serious about that, and chuckles a little. Still, it might be a fun goal to pursue]
Plenty of practice from juggling my social life while still getting decent enough marks at school to keep my parents from grounding me.
[With her social life being the greater priority of the two, of course]

Fight Club sounds pretty good training - I bet there'll be more styles and forms in it then the types we get taught in class - and it's good for letting off steam, if nothing else.
Well, most people couldn't handle a social life, military training and running two clubs. Don't suppose you're in any others as well?

[Shopping, Bulla's number one hobby. If she had to choose a battle cry, it would probably be "CHARGE IT"]
Definitely. And as long as someone who's good with the cure para-magic is around, people can even use weapons, magic, and other abilities.
Nope! I thought about joining the Garden Festival Committee, but I think maybe I'll just volunteer my time sometimes when I've got some extra time on my hands.

Oh? Have you got someone on hand at the moment?
I'm not suprised you don't have any time left, if you're doing all that. Do you actually sleep at all, or is it a luxury?
no subject
Terra's good at it, and I did all right in the para-magic class.
Of course I sleep. I wouldn't have the energy for anything else if I didn't, and I like getting my beauty sleep.
no subject
That's good - as fun as unarmed combat is, it's better to get a decent range of opponents. Be a pity to leave out all the weaponry and magic.
Ah, you don't look like you need beauty sleep. But I guess if you need it for energy, that's all right.
no subject
Just as long as everyone follows the fighting match rules, it's fine if people use magic or weapons.
[Her cheeks flush a little at that. Compliments are always nice]
Thank you!
no subject
Rules? Huh. No-one said anything about rules.
no subject
Oh, it's nothing too strict. Mostly the rules are to determine when the fight's over and to make sure nobody gets severely hurt. If someone's down for the count of ten, is out of the ring, knocked out, or gives up, the fight's over. And if no healers are around, then it has to be hand to hand only.
[Yup, still blushing a little]
no subject
Hand-to-hand can still do a lot of damage.
no subject
Well, we haven't dealt with not having one around, yet. I guess with everyone learning para-magic, there's always going to be someone who knows at least the basics after a while.
no subject
Yeah, but... where I came from, I was taught to kill as quickly as possible, practically by instinct. I don't know about everyone else here, but I know some people are pretty good in combat. Just seems like there should be someone fully-trained on hand, rather than just people who knows the basics.
no subject
You've got a point...I should put up an ad on the BBS to see if anyone who's specializing in cure magic wants to get in some extra practice and be a designated healer for the club. I don't fight because I don't want to seriously hurt someone by accident.

[Bulla nods] I didn't used to think I was strong at all, but I can punch a grat from one end of the Training Center to the other.
