[ She's not a creative type, this Oerbian. But Vanille said she needed to do a painting in her fine arts class, and had said she'd really like it if she could paint something that reminded her of home, really like it if she could paint something she already knew well, really, really like it if she could maybe just maybe pretty please with sugar on top have Fang as her subject.

So of course Fang said yes.

And now she's sitting in the fine arts room, surrounded by mostly empty easels and the smell of potted paints. She's alone for now, waiting on the artiste, and fiddling with some of the tools used to mold clay. She accidentally breaks one of the clay-cutting wire-contraptions, fumbles with it, then hurriedly puts it down before glancing around to be sure no one saw. ]

[ While Light's busy debating on what to do with the paintbrush, Fang's sliding all up into her personal space. ]

[ Fang can't really argue that one. Vanille could get distracted from almost anything if you just shook shiny beads at her. ]

[ Glances out of her periphery and notices the invasion of personal space. Frowns. ]

[ She gives him a big dexter shrug.] Then let me be a bit more efficient. I don't like all this saucy lip, mister fluffy cuffs. Straight answers, or I'm gonna stop wasting effort.

Ah yeah-- [ She doesn't want to think about what happened to her personally when it happened. Getting hung from a pole was not her idea of cool. ]

They never did explain what caused that. Bit sketchy, ey?

[ Pauses, almost hesitant, but nods to cover it up. ]

Yeah. But most of the facilities have been repaired since.

[She keeps quiet except for a couple absent noises that signify 'serious concentration'. This continues for a good fifteen minutes until she pops back away from the canvas victoriously.]
