That is very silly and stupid. Magic is not a source of evil, it is simply a... Hm, how might one describe it. An energy, a thing. A study? A tool. A tool! Yes, a tool! Or, or perhaps a study. Knowledge. One of those things! In any case, it is still very silly. Magic does not cause evil any more than wielding a sword might. Or knowing how to carve wood, or anything else! Exterminating evil is a very nice cause, and in fact it is what I would like to do also, but your father did not know at all how to do that!

And I am sure the dragons did absolutely nothing to deserve such treatment! We are very negotiable creatures and we tend to be very pleasant! Unless you are speaking with a colored dragon, like I said earlier, but even they can be civil if they wish to be!
