[Oh, no, why would he ever do that? It's not like he doesn't enjoy not breaking his back or anything. First he's flattened with a shout of surprise, and then gravity decides to dump them both back on the ground. The Prince has enough wits about him that he tries to swing Claire around so that he doesn't crush her on the way back down, though the same probably can't be said for Claire -- the Prince is trying to land in a way that doesn't break anything, rather than trying to catch her.]
