002 ♥ Action
Chapter 1: The Library
[A smile alights Belle's face, her being thoroughly engrossed in the current book within her hands as she sits at an otherwise unoccupied table in the library. She's appears to be quite far gone within her reading and seemingly unaware of everyone else within the room, let alone near by. It's not hard to imagine that a herd of chocobos could be running about, darting in and out of the shelves, jumping from atop the computers, and she wouldn't bat an eye.
However... as you approach, she speaks up without ever looking up from her book. Her voice is soft, as you're in the library after all, but not as distracted as you'd imagine from the bookworm SeeD.]
The other seats are not in use nor being saved, if you need to get some work done.
Chapter 2: Cafeteria
[It's a strange sight, to those who know Belle, but instead of a book in her hand as she eats, she's going over ... paperwork.
Alright, perhaps not that strange of a sight, but strange enough for the well known bookworm. Of course, even an instructor should take time to go over their lessons and grade work. While she isn't naive enough to think that her students are eager to get their assignments back as soon as possible, or in dire need of homework assignments come Monday, she's focused upon getting these tasks completed and ready. Nothing shall distract her from this chosen course of work!
Except, you, if you'd like. Go for it.]

Fair enough, he'd ignore her as well. Erik walked by in front of her, pursuing the philosophy books when she spoke up, catching him by surprise. A book in hand, he turned around, surprised by her voice. It wasn't like he was making himself aware to the patrons in the first place. ]
I'm not here for work, but rather leisure.
[ He turns around again, intent on pursuing the shelves when a question strikes him. ]
How is it you've heard my presence? I wasn't aware I created that much noise.

[Paaaage flip. She finishes reading her paragraph before sparing him a glance, though she's smiling.]
You didn't at all. It is a bit hard to describe fully, but I just seem to be aware. I don't often realize it myself, I'm afraid. My apologies, if I startled you.
no subject
If you don't mind.
[ Erik took a seat next to her, book in hand. Rather than focusing on it, he racked his brain, trying to think of her name and where he had seen her before. ]
You were a student here, right? I apologize, it's been a while since I've been back at the Garden.

[ Aerith smiles gratefully at Belle, then sits down with textbook and papers--someone's trying to figure her lesson plan for the week. ]

I feel the same way.

[She smiled at him, finishing up another page while he tries to remember. When he starts talking again, she glances up.]
That's all right. A lot of us come and go through here. I'm Belle and you're Erik, correct?

I suppose it'd be Professor Lehnsherr now. I was roped into a teaching position out of a sheer need to keep myself moving.
no subject
You as well? I'm an Instructor for 'Composition and Literature' and 'Understanding, Speaking and Writing English'. What are you teaching?

...Travel guides and history books for Fisherman's Horizon? Apparently, someone is trying to prepare for the trip as much as possible.
It's enough of a selection that she doesn't hesitate to set the books down when a spot is offered at the table, and take a seat.]
"My thanks; I'm eager to get started on today's study session."

[Belle notes the curious look and holds up the book for her to see. It appears to be some form of fiction, perhaps from another world.]
I think a cadet must've left this here during my time away. I've never seen this book before in the library, but it's quite interesting!
no subject
That's a lovely variety.

"I had it pointed out that there was some classic literature available here, so I decided to add that and an overview of this new location to the reading list."

[Because she remembers recommending such a book...]

"...Yes."
[And after a moment of processing this change in conversation, she also hazards a question of her own.]
"May I ask how you know me?"
