[It had been way too long since Cissie had last stepped in here. Between classes and her recovering from her subsequent mental breakdown, it just hadn't been worth the effort! Plus, she hadn't even been trained in this world's "proper" weapons. Apparently, the very idea of using arrows and a bow in battle was old-fashioned? And she needed to upgrade to a Blaster Edge?

It'd taken Cissie a while to wrap her head around that notion, so she'd borrowed a Blaster Edge (and a manual!) from the WTR classroom and created a make-shift target range in a corner of the Center.

Although she's not very good at using a Blaster Edge, one's gotta give her points for trying. Just incase, she's kept her bow and arrows nearby. Training so far looks pretty good---

Except she aimed a little too far and shot a nearby (and ridiculously tall and thick) tree with her Blaster Edge. Multiple times. Cissie groans, watching the tree topple over before the Blaster Edge's projectile returns to her.] Maybe I should give this thing a rest for today.

[Bart had been pretty bored that day, so he decided to go look for Cissie to see if they could hang out. He had no idea where she would be, though, so he opted to speed through the Garden to save some time. When he finds her in the training center, he skids to a stop (after looping around the area to see if anyone else was near) right next to her.]

Hey, Cissie! Are you busy?

Not anymore. [She sighs, pointing to where the tree once was.] What's up?

Wow. What did you do to it? [Cissie, he thought you just shot arrows!]

[She didn't mean to, she swears!] I uh... I was trying out a Blaster Edge. Apparently "bows and arrows" are too old-fashioned for WTR.

They're not too old-fashioned! Did you show 'em what you can do with them?

I haven't had to yet, since I technically don't take the class until next Quarter. [So she was pretty much testing them out to see if they were indeed better than her bows and arrows.]

... I think I'm gonna stick to what I know for class.

I don't know... fighting, maybe? I know there's some Grats nearby and we probably should figure out how Bart Allen fights for his classes.

[...See, up until now, Koromaru had been minding his own business in the Training Center. Finding a spot to do *ahem* some business, and then a different place to enjoy a quick nap.

What he didn't expect was a sharp object suddenly flying through the air, and a nearby tree almost falling down on him. He does get stuck in the branches, and sounds quite indignant as he rustles around in them before finally popping out, with a coat full of leaves.]

"Rf! Urf! Grrrrrrwl."

[Loosely translated from Dog, that comes closest to 'Falling trees, what!?' He's then quick to glance around, to make sure there aren't any more falling down.]

[Bart had been intending to reply to Cissie, but then an animal practically falls out of the ruined tree.]

A dog! [Smiling widely, he rushes over to greet it.] I wonder what he's doing here.

[Tim says as he slows to a stop behind her. The fight with Damian made sure that he needed to get in some more training, hopefully while no one was watching. Not that he had much to hide now when it came to his skill. The whole school had seen.

But his shoulder was still bad enough that he was keeping the fact that he was still hurting hidden.]

[Well, she hadn't been planning on accidentally quite-possibly almost hurting a dog, that's for sure. She'll follow Bart, though she's nowhere near as fast as him.]

I don't know... aren't dogs technically against Garden Code?

I think I would've gotten it more if I'd planned to make it crash. [she laughs, exchanging her Blaster Edge for her bows and arrows] I didn't realize these things were so strong!

And give the school extra firewood in July? I think I'll nix it for now. [She laughs, turning around to face him. Oh Tim... she can't help frowning as she immediately sets her Blaster Edge down and starts rummaging around for a Potion or two.]

... How'd that happen? Take on two T-Rexaurs at once?

But there's a smiley kid running over! It's hard to be indignant when that's happening. That, along with the fact that there aren't any more trees getting knocked over, makes his stop bristling and growling.

And also convinces him to hop down from the tree, trying to shake the last of those leaves off.]

It's called a Blaster Edge. It's like a mix between my bow and arrows and a boomerang because you shoot it---and then the projectile comes back to you.

What would they need extra firewood for? Unless they need it for all those camping trips they send the cadets out on.

[He shakes his head, waving off any potion that comes near him. He's fine; he bandaged himself up just fine.]

Please, don't waste any of that on me. I'll be okay in a day or two. [Pauses.] Family problems. Just as bad as a T-Rexaur.

[She listens to him and stops, but it's still worrying her.] Family? Seriously? ... I'm sorry, I didn't even know they were here too.
