[It's been long enough, and Tobias is done moping. He's thankful that he managed to patch up the original problem with Espio, and has been thinking ever since falling into the snippiness coming from his knife throwing. His final decision?

Espio is his friend, but he's not his mother. Tobias isn't going to give up something he wants to do just because it upsets him, as much as he loves Espio. But it isn't right that whatever it is -- jealousy, like Marco said, or something else -- causes him to have to back off. He's tired of being passive, and he's taking the first steps not to be any longer.

Which is why he's in the Training Center, throwing everything he's learned at the creatures in it. The throwing at them and anything that can count as a target, para-magic, some rough hand to hand fighting, and even a fall back on an ability he had shoved to the back of his mind -- glitching and deleting, though in a far smaller radius, limited to the creatures around him.

For those who watch long enough or come at the right time, they get to see Tobias' personal Guardian Force -- a large, evil looking creature that either forces the nearby grats into what seems to be a physically painful nightmare, or simply shreds them with glowing claws.

Needless to say, not much survives nearby Tobias, and he eventually stops, moving somewhere clear to collapse, breathing hard and clutching his chest.]

[He smiles, trying to get his breathing under control.]

[He seems unbothered by Espio's ninja appearance, simply giving him a smile.]

[Holy crap, what did Robin just witness? He stares at Tobias long after the kid's GF is gone--and unless Tobias notices he's there, Robin's not going to say anything.

Not that it's very hard to spot the superhero hiding in a tree.]

[And considering Tobias is well versed in the arts of being a ninja, he can see Robin fine. He notices the look, and simply waves at him.]

Says the guy who just nuked everything in sight and is clearly suffering from overworking himself. []

[Hypocrite. Tobias is just rubbing his chest, shaking his head.]

Really. I'm okay.

Then why are you grasping your chest like that?

Because it's been a while since I went completely out.

"A while," huh? [] I don't remember seeing you go anywhere near that far before. Does that always happen?

No, it doesn't.

I don't know. I guess I just worked a bit too hard.

Anyway, I just spent the last hour looking for you.

What for? [Blinks a bit in surprise.]

Just something I wanted to talk to you about. It can wait until later, if you want.

No, it's fine.

[His breathing has returned to normal, and he drops his hand to his knee.]

What's wrong?

Nothing, really.

It's just another "secret." We both saw how well me keeping them worked out.

[He shifts his position a bit, looking at Espio attentively.]

You didn't read what I told Marco, did you?

You were telling it to Marco. Why would I read it?

[gaaah. He needs to learn the art of the ninja better. He'll make a face but wave back to Tobias as he gracefully jumps down and turns his voice distorter on.]

What was that I saw earlier?
